The Peter Principle: Why Things Always Go Wrong- by Laurence J. Peter & Raymond Hull

First published 40 years ago, this one’s the original management “self-help” book. Told with humor, it’s all just as relevant today as it was in 1969 (or so Will tells me…). Whether it’s your first time or a refresher read, find out why “[every]one tends to rise to his level of incompetence”. The Peter Principle ($19.99, HarperBusiness, 978-0-0616-9906-1) is both a revelation and a fun, easy read.

This historical fiction has it all - Sir Thomas More & family, 16th century art, intrigue, mystery, romance - all against a realistic English background (even Shakespeare gets thrown in).
